Quillsoft is a software company that specialises in creating assistive technology for literacy support. Founded over 22 years ago, Quillsoft arose from the commercialisation efforts of Ontario-based research engineers working in rehabilitation. The company's flagship product is WordQ, a trusted to many assistive technology software developed in partnership with Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Toronto.
WordQ is designed to help all individuals with pre, peri and post writing support including those with physical disabilities, neurodiversity, or anyone facing barriers to literacy. Being available to all, WordQ is helping to normalise the use of assistive technology in the classroom.
