Introduction to WordQ for Chrome
Welcome to this WordQ for Chrome introduction.
What is WordQ? WordQ is software that provides support for students with learning differences, such as dyslexia, and in general, any students who face barriers to writing for any reason. As well, it complements reading and writing instruction for students who are learning English as a second language. We call this technology, intelligent assistance, or IA, rather than AI. In general, the approach is to encourage students to be active participants in reading and writing, not passive spectators. WordQ does not write for a student. Rather, the students get assistance to be independent in their work, and get their ideas down easily.
