Old Quillsoft packaged extensions for Chrome™ are retired.

In 2020, Google announced that they would stop supporting packaged Apps. As a result, on July 1, 2022, Quillsoft stopped support for these Chrome packaged Apps and on Aug. 15, 2023 they have been removed from the Google Store.

When our team of developers learned that Quillsoft’s packaged Apps would be unsupported, they began engineering the all new WordQ for Google Chrome. This powerful literacy support app:

  • was built for accessibility first

  • combines a word processor and a PDF reader in one

  • includes evidence-based, built-in assistive literacy supports

  • meets all current browser-based security standards

I’m still using the old WordQ packaged apps, what should I do?

If you, your school, or district is still using one or more of our old Chrome packaged extensions, now is a great time to start looking at what new assistive literacy support will best meet the needs of your students.
